Coral is everywhere! From cosmetics, to clothes, accessories and even shoes, this umbrella hue indeed provides a refreshing look this season! For people who have warmer tones, hues like this, including peaches and oranges (see previous entry on colors) would be your best friends this Spring-Summer 2012.
So how do you use these colors for lips?
I'm back! And still on fire!! As Alicia Keys would say, "I'm living in a world, and it's on fire. Feeling the catastrophe, but I know how to fly away." Literally and figuratively. ;)
Sometimes, there are moments wherein I feel like, dull, lackluster and well, quite bored and sad. Thanks to the invention of glitter / shimmer makeup because it just makes me feel good, sparkly and dreamy whenever I put these magical stuff in my face. And there are many types of glitters, so let me share with you how I use, layer and play around with them ;)

Eyebrow: Majolica Majorca Lash & Brow Colorist + Bobbi Brown eye brown pencil in brown
Eye Color: Laura Mercier Creme Liner in (Indigo) + BYS Intense Pigments Palette
Sparkle Powder/Glitters: Bobbi Brown Sparkle Powder in Veil, Bobbi Brown Sparkle Powder in Lilac, BYS Glitter Cream, Shu Uemura
Falsies: Flutter Flase Eyelashes
Eyeliner: PAC Liquid Eye Liner in Baby Blue
Cheek Color: L'Oreal Paris True Match
Base: L'Oreal Paris Lucent Magique Foundation
Lip color: MAC Heroine + ShiseidoPerfecting Rouge Lipstick in 320
Lip Gloss: Mac Dazzle Glass in Rags to Riches
So the focal point is the eyes, but I used different colors so my rule is to use the same texture - shiny, shimmering splendid on face, lips and eyes.

So let's start! First, use a base (meaning, something that the glitter and shimmers can hold on to) and for this look, I used Laura Mercier eye creme in Indigo which was intense and placed on top a bright blue eye shadow from BYS which created a magical intense shimmery effect as below.
Now I used 4 different products with different levels of sparkle, size of glitter, intensity, density, color and overall effect:
(l-r): Shu Uemura, Bobbi Brown Sparkle Powder in Lilac, BYS Glitter Cream, Bobbi Brown Sparkle Powder in Veil
Now the larger glitters I placed in the inner corner and above the crease to intensify the effect and make the eyes pop out.
Finally, I placed Bobbi Brown sparkle product in Lilac which has a 3D effect (quite blue then purplish) on the eyelids, on top of everything to put a different dimension under a different light as you can see below (and can;t be seen when using flash)
I added extra BYS shimmers which has big particles under the eyes to create more dramatic effect, but you can skip this part.
How many colors of glitters/shimmers can you see? ;) On top of all the eye colors and shimmers, I placed a colored eyeliner with the same texture and color from PAC which stood out from all the products.
I wore this to a party and I was super confident to flash my eyes! Now for the lips, I used a matte lipstick under and placed a super shimmery-glittery lip gloss from MAC which I'll review soon!
So if you want extra extra drama, use flasies and put some glitters on top.
Hope I was able to make you dream with this LOTD too! ;)
Women for years have enjoyed the successful range dedicated to the shine and care of colour-treated hair by the world’s number one luxury hair care brand, Kérastase; and now, a new promise of 40 days of colour perfection…
I and fellow Manila beauty bloggers. We're all so colorful!!
I have tried using Kerastase especially its color range when I had my highly-colored brown hair. I can say, despite continuous retouching, I was able to preserve the color with that intensity and shine! See below photo 2 years ago. When it comes to art of color and hair, I really believe in Kerastase (its art and science in perfecting hair) which most of my hairdressers recommend!!
Now, CHROMA CAPTIVE is the new colour care line with exclusive Système Capture™ for 40 days of colour perfection*. Leveraging the latest research on chromatic measures, the L’Oréal Advanced Research combines 4 peak technologies to capture and prolong hair colour in its most perfect state. Depth-Reflects-Shine: a proven efficiency measured on all key colour parameters.See more details here.

I was lucky enough to receive samples of this improved range and I will have my color treated soon and test it with this product!
On the 3rd floor of the W Tower at the Fort. Everything pink and it is so amazing!
This new range includes Bain Chroma Captive, a colour radiance protecting shampoo, Fondant Chroma Captive, a daily shine intensifying care, and Masque Chroma Captive, a shine intensifying masque—great additions to the strong history of colour care by the REFLECTION range of Kérastase.
A short program headed by the brand’s Business Unit Manager, Glowillyn Robillo, started the evening.
Laura Charlton, Kérastase’s Media Advocate, was introduced and she spoke of the impressive results on colour-treated hair by the new range, and its success among hairdressers. She was so honest to say that customers didn't had to retouch in her salon because of this product. ;) Speaking of salon, David's Salon, where Laura is working, will be sponsoring Break My Spell! Stay tuned ;)
And gracing the event was the owner of The Goose Station himself, Chef Rob Pengson, who gave a few words.

Following the short program, a great three-course sumptuous meal hosted by one of the Metro’s leading restaurants, The Goose Station, was served. Each course was crafted to perfection not just in the way they were presented, but in the combination of flavours present in the dishes.
