Divine Night

As for MAC, "what happens at night stays there. M•A•C captures the moment when flashing lights illuminate a flair for finery and limitless luxury that can only be described as divine. Gorgeous colours in rich finishes inspire an evening on the scene and to be seen. Enjoy yourself - past midnight, the darkness keeps the secrets."

Now this was actualized by MAC Philippines in a divine night with a disco feel.

Along side the Divine Night collection, MAC Philippines also released its holiday items as you can also see here. Now these glitters spell luxury and illumination.
What also made the night special was the demonstration by MAC Australia's Dalal Mansour.
The look was consistent and pearly, but I can clearly see the bold limited edition Party Parrot lipstick that was used on her complimenting the color trend on hair.

After the night, I started packing for my Thailand trip and of course I got the chance to swatch the products there.
"Blush and Skinfinish rise to the occasion, pairing rich, contrasting shades with the graphic impact of a limited-edition powder design. Sultry eyes are done with Mineralize Eye Shadow, Fluidlines and Kohl Power Eye Pencil in glittering shades of pearl, from red to green to gold. The ingenious double-lush brush of False Lashes strokes each lash with dramatic volume, sharpening eyes with ultimate definition. Experience finishing touches that are fit to fire up everyone’s envy: lustrous lip shades in nude, satin taupe, red and plum and glossy nails in velvet gold, darkest silver suede and blackened burgundy."

My EOTD using MAC Mineralize products
Swatches of MAC Divine Night Lipsticis - 2 coats, with flash
My top picks in the collection are the Mineralize products - whether blush, eyeshadow or highlighter. They give good color pay-off with a luxurious finish - not too shimmery, quite pearly and pigmented.

MAC Divine Night Mineralize Skin Finish - 2 coats, with flash
MAC Mineralize Skin Finish Highlighter - 2 coats, with flash
Overall, the Mineralize (especially Skin Finish ones - like highlighters) are my favorites and my recommended picks. Since I discovered this line from MAC, I can see how it transforms skin and reflects light to create a soft luxurious look. What I also like is that the highlighters has warm colors (fit for Filipina skin tone) that are different from the usual pearly products they release.

While Mineralize products are not always compact (meaning, pigments might fall off), I suggest to always do it in wet state especially for eye shadows. Nonetheless, the products are promising in its overall effect and finish.

MAC Divine Night collection is available at select MAC counters in the Philippines since it's still part of the holiday collections.
