L'Oreal x Tony And Jackey Korean StyleMonday, March 11, 2013
What I also love is that their hairdressers are almost all Koreans and are very educated in the details of hair care and styling
With fellow K-POP looking girls Rhea bue, Rovie Divinagracia and Earth Rullan with our L'Oreal Korean Style and Maybelline makeup!!

selfie before the major hair transformation. Was wearing extensions so I had to remove that of course
And this is how short my hair is... and quite dry and damaged due to color treatment.
They retouched the color of my hair too and this is after that. I love that the salon gives so much care for the hair that they don't color the whole hair but only retouches the roots. This way, it won't get further damaged through time.
Now to the process of creating the L’Oreal Professionnel Korean City Style texture collection on my hair. The service boasts of the perming technologies of X-Tenso moisturist and Dulcia Advanced to give dull hair a volumized boost. This product duo provides great results through a hybrid technology that smoothens and treats the hair at the same time, thus nourishing every hair fiber without fear of damage.
Madam na madam and with very advanced curling equipment from Tony & Jackey!
So gets curled, neutralized, dried and styled to achieve the bottom left final result with very healthy and shiny strands still
I opted for the Gangnam Style which had bigger curls. Although that's meant for longer hair, I wanted to maintain the beautiful curls even when my hair's growing
Together with my L'Oreal color and Matrix "New York" highlights which like ombre but in different parts of the hair, the curls look very natural-looking and shiny as well.
Now I can sport edgy short AND long curly hair (with extensions, I don't have to curl my original hair already)
- Towel dry hair and blow-dry it with an application of both Mythic Oil and Tecni.art full Volume Mousse to build up the foundation of bouncier looking curls.
- To provide extra hold for shorter hair, apply Tecni.art Playball Density Material for the idea Busan and Hong Dae Style.
- Finish off the three Korean City Style looks with a pump of Tecni.art Crystal Gloss for added shine.
I have been using a hair oil to maintain softness and health of my hair and wave contour to make it look very well controlled during the day and below is a result after 2 weeks: hair is still damage-free; curls intact and overall look is great.
If you are interested in availing the service, you can check out Bang's Tony & Jackey Salon (they have a lot of branches in the Philippines) . I highly recommend their expert and customer service and it's the salon that's now on the top of my list.
