Colour Collection Cosmetics

It's hard to find quality pigments when price matters. But the market is changing especially with Tupperware Brand's premium line called Color Collection which is sold through direct selling.

It's my first time to try this line. And my deliberations are based on their new products and limited edition collection as you can see in the the above photo. Let's start with the latter in collaboration with known host, beauty maverick Bianca Valerio.

Let's start with this Blush/Contour which doesn't look powdery. The color is in warm pink and is perfect for the season, with good coverage, consistency and overall finish. What I really like about it is it's silky feel which appears smooth and shiny.

The limited edition lipsticks have good color payoff as well that's perfect for summer as well: a bright red and a nude brown.

Focusing on color quality as the others are similar to its permanent items - the payoff is excellent with stunning texture and shimmering finish.

The intensity of the colors even with the nude one is also worth noticing.

The only problem with these of course is that it's limited. Nonetheless, you can always look at its permanent colour products for the cheeks and lips. Let's review!

(+) The pigments' quality is very high. Even with one swipe, the color is already there - bright and powerful.
(+) Color consistency is above average.

(+) The colors are rich, creamy and smooth upon application until it fades. As you can see with the swatches below, lips look moisturized and hydrated.

(+) I also like that even with my extreme dry lips, the product hides fine lines. There's little feathering too at the first 3-4 hours. Bianca Valerio taught us during the launch how to maintain this. Stay tuned in my next post!

(+) It's easy to glide and apply. It also has a nice warm vanilla scent.
Swatch of Color Collection Ultimate Wear Lipstick in Bellissima  - 2 coats, with flash
(-) For it's most nude color though, the product seems to feather on lips but as you can see below, it mattifies through time which can prevent this.
Swatch of Color Collection Ultimate Wear Lipstick in Angelic - 2 coats, with flash
(+/-) I also like that it can be matte because the color stains. Below is a picture of how the nude pink color fades. Nonetheless, the difficult part is its removal.
(+/-) Also, it lasts of up to 8 hours indeed but maybe because of the high-quality pigment, it sort of dries the lips. It stays true to its ultimate wear promise (that it is also difficult to remove) but lips need to be hydrated with a balm.

(-) One weakness also is the packaging. It's not pointed and the product is not too secure with the soft lock.

Moreover, focusing on color, the blushes are my favorites too. They're non-chalky (which i really hate seeing in affordable products!) and gives good color quality and shimmery finish perfect for the season. The glitters are not too big and obvious which gives a sort of mirror finish!

Overall, I am super impressed with the quality of this brand and its new products. Despite the low price and small size (e.g. lipstick), color payoff can be seen and that is its greatest quality. I will surely repurchase and recommend especially for those who want color that lasts.

Thanks Sample Room BTW for letting me try these products!

  1. Hi Mikki,

I just love Colour Collection but the Ultimate Wear Lipstick is so hard to remove after, I guess for me that is the only downside but I do love the hues. My favorite is Headturner.
