Makeup is technique. And it takes practice. For 4 years,  I've been working on shoots, events and campaigns. I am a self-taught makeup artist but I got interested in learning various techniques especially from the brands that are led by makeup artists that I look up to. I have been attending workshops/seminars from Shu Uemura, Laura Mercier, Bobbi Brown, NARS, L'Oreal, etc especially because of this blog and I apply all my learnings to my artistic pursuits!

I am deeply interested in honestly surveying good products, techniques, services in the market because I believe in getting the best value for money. I have been doing product reviews in this blog for 3 years. I am part of the Sample Room blogger team where I get to try and test several cosmetic products and NuffNang, Bloggers United for the blogging community.  I have partnered with few fashion brands like Ray-Ban, Levi's but I dare myself to go out and explore more of fashion, travel, food and culture as well. I am also offline . Makeup needs practice and I like comibining it online to be able to deliver my messages and lessons. Digital is my world. During the day, I work to develop and execute communications campaigns and at night, I blog. I don't want to feel like working when I blog but when it comes to work, it is work!

I started my personal journey with makeup since high school and I have never left the pigments since then. I graduated from Ateneo with a BS in Management of Applied Chemistry where I used to create lipsticks and hair serums in the laboratory and do makeup of models and school personalities in events, parties and shoots. I also minored in Philosophy and learned more about aesthetics/art and beauty. I also worked for 2 years for top beauty and skin care companies in the Philippines where I got to love cosmetics and know multitude of beauty products in the market, and been blogging for 3 years.
