L'Oreal Paris Lucent Magique Light-Infusing Liquid Foundation in Golden Beige
SRP: PHP 845
Availability: Leading Department Stores nationwide
According to L'Oreal, the liquid foundation can transform skin with the lit-from-within skin finish, allowing it to breathe.
(+) true enough, it's not too thick/creamy which allows skin to breathe
(+) coverage is good and right to let light shine through
(-) although consistency is average. I'd still prefer the True Match coverage that copies the skin texture
Before applying any base - you can see impurities, oil and dull tired skin. =( |
Immediately, the BB Magique Cream and concealer pen concealed the impurities and gave an radiant glowing magical finish!! |
(+) color is yellowish (but I guess there are other tones for this foundation) but it corrected the slighty white tone of the BB cream and the concealer pen
(-) Since my skin type is oily, it looked really shiny on my face.
(+) Nonetheless, you can see it already transformed the skin into a natural luminous healthy-looking one
(-) But on my skin, it kinda looked cakey because of the average consistency.
(+) For dry skin types like my mother's below, you can see how hydrated it became
(+) and the hydration lasts for 24H
L'Oreal Paris Lucent Magique Skin Illuminating Tri-Powder Foundation in G3 (Golden)
SRP: PHP 845
Availability: Leading Department Stores nationwide
(+) I love how the powder has a seamless trace coverage. If you have a nice skin and nice liquid already, this would be perfect.
(+) It's kind of yellowish which matches my liquid. This looks yellowish on my arm but it's perfect for my face tone which is different from my body due to my treatments
(+) The cream highlighter gives the translucent pearly finish while the pink one gives a balancing tone that's healthy-looking
(+) The micro-shimmers are beyond average!
Tri-powder swatches |
Combining all three |
(+) As above, when mixing all powders in the case, it gives a pinkish and healthy luminous finish!!
(+) As below, With the liquid, consistency and coverage became nicer.
Liquid Foundation + Tri-Powder swatches |
After using all Lucent products, see below
(+) and you can see how I transformed my skin with a luminous healthy looking glow without imperfections
(+) how the coverage was still seamless and nice after all the products
magical finish after Lucent Magique bb cream, liquid foundation and powder |
(+) as above also, on my mom, you can see how it also transformed and further made skin luminous and radiant with a nice consistency and coverage (no cakey effect)
(+) Powder has Vitamin C complex which of course can help brighten skin as you wear them
(+) lasts for a long time, although for me it's slightly different because my oily skin pushes me to retouch
Wearing all Lucent base products in my face during a party. The products captured the light from the flash which gave me a VERY good luminous, flawless finish |
Overall, I recommend all Lucent products to people with dry skin. Definitely, it will give a luminous, glowing and flawless finish for all especially when taking photos (where there's flash). And because of this for sure, I will repurchase.
Except for the liquid foundation because I still really love my L'Oreal Paris True Match which captures exactly the texture of my skin with a medium-high coverage - which works for me daily. I will use the Lucent liquid during night outs but not when people can see my skin up close and not through a light illusion. I think if you have a relatively nice skin already (texture, no pores), the whole range is perfect. Both also hydrates skin, but the BB cream, concealer pen and powder may already do wonders in illuminating and perfecting my face under True Match.
What do you think? Let me know your thoughts!
omg. it photographs so beautifully and you're so pretty too! I was worried about the white cast thing since anything related to light and stuff made me have a trauma due to Revlon's photoready foundation. :(
ReplyDeleteThanks Shah!!! how trauma? I think I have to look at the ingredients for you since L'Oreal only mentioned the "Liquid Byron Technology". Ill let you know ;)
