If there's one thing I can do with my eyes closed or whenever I'm stuck in the car or cab, it would be applying foundation, lipstick and mascara; but not eyeshadow. The outlines of the eye are quite hard to memorize especially when using liquid-based products. And it needs blending, mind you. But here goes Bobbi Brown with its effortless, high-impact and long lasting creams in sticks that could be the best friend of any busy hardworking person in the Philippines. Why? Know more below.

Bobbi Brown Long Wear Cream Shadow Stick (permanent)
SRP: PHP 1550
Availibity: Rustan's Department Stores
(+) The consistency and coverage of the product are beyond amazing. As you can see below, 2 swipes provide full on color and texture
(+) Finish differs per color but all are great! Others have metallic finishes, while others give semi-matte ones
(+) Colors are mostly dark and OK, especially fit for the coming Holiday season! My favorites are Iced blue, Golden Pink and the grey one.
(+) Of course they're long lasting which Bobbi Brown is known for. Below is a swatch of what remained still after using a makeup remover. Tip is to use an oil-based one to completely remove. I tell, this is indestructible in water. So that means it's smudge-proof, crease-proof which are needed when stress comes in (I should know!)
(+) But also below, in defined lines, you can observe how creamy and smooth the texture is
(+) Blending Golden Pink, below shows how this can be used to shade, define (like an eyeliner), smoke up (meaning to blend darker shades) and highlight (meaning to blend lighter shades) the eyes. It's just all in one and the formula allows for that. Not all powders (wet/dry) can do that and it would of course entail the usage of a brush which is quite hard right?
(+) It doesn't flake as you can see because of the creamy formula and is not oily too. It's just balanced and genius, Bobbi Brown!
(+) Feels so lightweight too with Vitamins C & E.
I actually got a new Laura Mercier Caviar stick which has a very similar name, called Rose Gold. I'll review this soon but basing on swatch below, the difference is of course the color undertone and texture. Left is Laura Mercier which has a more metallic and pinkish tone, while Bobbi Brown has a brighter and shimmery one.
Overall, I lay my hands down to this product. It's truly the stroke of a genius with its formulation allowing this stick to do anything with quality. I definitely recommend and will repurchase this one.

(+) On eyes using Bark, you can see how high the color pay-off is and the amount of product it gives in just 2 swipes.

So they have unique details but I assure you that both are long-wearing as you can see below with intense smudging. Laura, nonetheless has more staying power and has less creamy formulation which wont allow much blending. So it really depends on where you would usually use it. If more as liner, then I suggest Laura Mercier.
