30 Things of 2014

2014 was a big year for beauty and with launches, relaunches and limited editions left and right, online or department store level, it gets exciting but also a bit overwhelming. Sometimes, I still get confused and amazed at the same time whenever I visit a cosmetics store, but below are my favorites from last year that are unique, hard-working and special in their ways!

3.1 PHILLIP LIM FOR NARS NAILS

NARS nails is a serious nail brand in the market. Earlier this year, Liz Lanuzo and I were talking to Julia Arenas (during our El Nido trip where I painted again my nails with the brand) about how brilliant the staying power and color of the one I got from the NARS x Pierre Hardy nail collection which is still alive! Despite the price, it really doesn't chip off too easily with good color payoff for weeks.

Now, there's another color collection in collaboration with 3.1 Phillip Lim that I have been eyeing on early this year when I heard about it, and a renovation of their permanent line. I mean, I don't know with NARS fans but for me, NARS nails is already perfect. I'm excited to share reviews of these with you soon!
